Just before the coronavirus pandemic began to unfold, the OLOH Crew was blissfully cruising the the Gulf Coast of Florida prior to heading down to Key West. After two weeks docked at Marina Jack in downtown Sarasota it was time to get underway with an easy two-hour fifteen minute ride down to Crow’s Nest Marina in Venice. This was a nice way to break up the trip down to our next planned stop at Captiva Island further south. Come along for the ride as we prep for departure and cruise the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway for 15.3 nautical miles (burning a mere 13 gallons of diesel) , opening three bridges and taking in a spectacular dolphin show along the way.
