Cruising On A Seventy Footer

All boaters have the discussion… what would we have if we didn’t have our boat?  What else do we really like?  What’s the fantasy boat?  Yeah, we’ve had the chat, many times – just not when we’re aboard OLOH which has been so good to us.  After all, we’ve got to show her a little respect!

For us, when we really start to really think about what other boats would suit our needs and cruising style, it’s not a long list.  In terms of motor yachts in a size that we’d be able to manage ourselves, we’ve always been drawn to the Ocean Alexander 70e.  And that’s why when our friends who are seasoned boaters were looking to move up from their sixty-three foot cruiser to something more substantial (and, as they said, something with a hallway like OLOH’s), we were quick to send them a listing for a 70e that came on our radar.  OK, no hallway, but there’s a lot to love about this yacht.  And they did fall in love with what is now the newest Three B’s.

So it’s a little something different with this video release.  We’re taking you for a quick ride off the coast of Marathon in the Florida Keys on The Three B’s and hope you get a sense of what it’s like to cruise on this magnificent vessel.  And before you ask, we do expect to post a video tour of her at some point.  But this round is all about the ride.

And as much as he enjoyed taking on crew duties for a change, do you think Captain A.J. could resist the temptation to take the helm?  Watch and enjoy…
