In this segment of the walkthrough we’ll show you around OLOH’s salon and you’ll see how we re-imagined the entertainment center that we had eliminated to make room for the new refrigerator we showed you in Part 1.  Then the Captain gives you a detailed look at OLOH’s pilothouse with a full walkthrough of our electronics suite and all of the gear and controls at the helm.

And yes, Jasper ensures that our attention is properly focused along the way…

Welcome back aboard OLOH…

  1. Please comment about the engines. On other you tube videos, the older boats (pre 2000) seem to have numerous issues with their engines, regardless of manufacture. Can you mention some of the engine squawks you’ve experienced. Thank you.
    1. Hey Bruce - thanks so much for your comment. We don't want to jinx it but we are happy to report that OLOH's 2004 Detroit Series 60s have been essentially problem-free in the nearly four years we've owned the boat. These particular engines are generally regarded as being fairly bulletproof and they checked out very well in our pre-purchase survey. We're diligent about regular and preventative maintenance and so far (knock on wood) they have treated us very well. The worst of it has been a fitting that came loose on a coolant drain which was really a superficial issues and an easy fix.
