OLOH TV – The Return To OLOH

When we brought OLOH into our lives, a major part of the point was having an escape pod from the cold and snowy northeast winters we had endured for so many years. When the pandemic unfolded and everything was up in the air, we wondered how much winter we’d have to “enjoy” before making our long-awaited return.

If we did make it back, we knew there would be a lot of prepping and checking of systems before we would be comfortable getting underway. And maybe a couple of cocktails in the mix ?

It can be an emotional experience when you return to a place or a home that you love after a long absence.  And if you’re a boater, you know what it’s like getting back on board after time away.  This was our experience…

After watching the video you can read all about our return to OLOH here.

  2. I watched your video and learned a lot about all the difficulties you faced during the cold winter. I like how you share what to do when getting back on the boat after a long time. Thanks for sharing
    1. Thanks! We're so glad you enjoyed it and found it informative. There's a lot to think about when recommissioning a boat and as thorough as we work to be, we don't think of everything... as you'll see in our next video. Cheers!
